Line breaks in aliases

I have a character that can shapeshift in my MUD. However, because of abuse reasons, when shape shifted you cannot pmote since it's considered a form of "communication", this rule mostly applies to PKillers, because they could transform and then inform allies while still transformed. Thus I decided to make an alias to pmote the transformation and change back.
However, going back to normal form requires a description with a line break.
{DThis pale, thin figure before you has a remarkably dark attractiveness. His hair
is a jet black in comparison to the cold white of his skin. Cut short, it still
hangs in thick and full around his head in a neat trim. A long celtic streak
runs just off center along the left side of his head, snow white in shade. His
face holds a look of complete indifference. The features are drawn in contemplation
but his eyes rarely seem focused on anything around him. However, when he does
regard what is right in front of him, there is a certain kinetic energy given
that can sometimes cause chills or goosebumps in those who he looks at. His
eyes are dark and black, they shine with intelligence but appear very empty
and black in other ways, though a closer look would expose that they are merely
a dark green color. A something that could possibly described as a cold
malice and rage.
His frame is thin and dressed in simple, dark, earthy colors. His clothes hang
loose about his wiry frame so that it is hard to tell just how thin he is. He
wears a kilt around his legs. The kilt is black and blue to display his family
colors and doesn't quite clash with his shirt but doesn't compliment it either.
However, this is offset by a clan tartan of the same colors which covers most
of his midsection, wrapping around the shoulder. He holds himself well, with
confidence and showing privilege, but holds no note of snobishness, just a cold
chill that can often be felt tangibly. If and when he smiles, there is a hint
of something amiss, something that most would not smile about.{x

I guess the first stupid question is can you put a blank line in the desc if you manually send the text? If you find this to be answered with no then stop.
Next stupid question is why do you have a "#WAIT 400" between each line?
Final question needs only be asked if you answered something like, "they are needed," to the second question; and that would be why don't you have a "#WAIT 400" after the "#CR"? |

I assumed it to be the case initially and tried it, but, unfortunately it didn't work. I even tried two blank lines.

If I don't it send all of the lines at once which exceeds the buffer for the MUD and disconnects me.

Because there's no characters to buffer, but if it might work I'll try it. |

If you want the text to maintain the same format as you have posted here maybe you need to send each line seperately

From this I gather you preformed a series of entries at the command line similar to this list of procedural steps.
First you entered

Then entered

Next you declared

Finally you commanded

Your answer to my stupid question says you did some such thing, and even took it a step further. Based on your answer the mud didn't allow the blank line, do you actually expect us to be able to change that? Or did you do something completely diferrent? |

When I use the send command to go from .txt file into the MUD, I have blank lines that feed just fine. So it's not my MUD, it's about how the line is sending, because other programs AND CMUD have both been able to send blank lines just fine.

Simply put. I don't believe CMUD is feeding a blank line. It does when it comes from a text file. Is there a way I can just have the alias send the text file? I need it to wait between the lines though, like the actual text file command.

Use the script debugger to see what's happening (turn on raw input/output). It should be sending properly if you use #send %cr.
