Cmud in Linux with Wine or Crossover?

Has anyone been able to get Cmud to work in Linux with Wine or Crossover (or some other non-vm software)? I'm in Linux a lot for some of my coding and it would be nice to have access to a good mud client - some of the others for linux just don't cut it.

If memory serves, some people have got it working in Crossover. Have a search.

Yes, and it can work under plain ole WINE as well with the right settings ;)
Too much tweaking there though.

When I run the installation under crossover, it hangs during the installation at the REGSERVER line. Under Wine, it gives the error about not allowing you to continue while there's a system debugger active.

Even though it's hung at the REGSERVER line, everything should be installed and working. The trouble is that CMUD will try to register the COM server (because that's what it's doing) again when it starts, which will presumably make it hang again.
