Editor settings tree bug |
Variables that are unclassed, that is, that are part of the package but not in any particular class under the package, are displayed under the class tree and not as being a direct part of the package. Other settings are displayed correctly. It is most obvious when you add a setting such as a module which will go at the bottom of the class list. The variables will be displayed between the class(es)and the module(s).

The class tree is being rebuilt as part of Zugg recent upgrade to Delphi 2007. It is very likely that all the old bugs in it will have been eradicated and we will have to find new ones.

Actually, that means you have a corrupted package. If you ever get *any* settings displayed outside of a module or window, then your package is corrupted. If you can reproduce a way to make this happen, let me know because it might not be caused by the current TreeView that is being fixed. But if this is from an existing package that was created in a previous version of CMUD, then it might have been a previous bug that is already fixed.

I just created this package a few days ago, though it was done by copy/pasting settings from an old package. The thing is that this only occurs with variables. All other settings are displayed correctly. So, whenever I select the root and create a variable, it will be put on the tree as if it were a class under the root. It does show as a variable, it is just positioned incorrectly. No problem with other settings created under the root.
