Trigger Help |
How do I set a trigger up so that it just makes a whole word a certain color instead of the whole line the word is on?
Also, How do i create a sound trigger? I have used #PL <filename> but it does not seem to be working. #BEEP does work but I want to be able to play a certain file. |

#play needs the full file path. The command you are looking for to color a single word is #cw
Code: |
#trigger {%qword%q} {#cw red;#play C:\windows\Media\tada.wav} |
Edit: Actually that tada example will work without the path because the tada.wav is in the media folder.
You can also place the file within your cmud games folder and it will work without the path too. |

I have the wav file in the cmud folder but it still doesn't play...
I just have #PLAY C:\Program Files\CMUD\test.wav and in the pattern line it is "tells you:"
I just want to play a sound file when i get a tell. It worked in zmud but can't get it to work in cmud.... |

If you already have it in the target folder, doing the following should suffice I think
#trigger {tells you:} {#play test.wav}
Thats how it worked in Zmud, anyway.

Note that I said Games folder and not PROGRAM folder. In Zmud the program folder WAS the games folder by default. Thus the distinction.
The Cmud Games folder is usually found in My Documents. |
