I know that Ctrl-Z doesn't work (that's on the bug list), but I can use the mouse wheel without any problem in my capture windows. Can anyone else reproduce this?

OK, I found the difference. If the child window has a command line, then the mouse wheel works. Otherwise it doesn't. This might be a side effect of the change I made to whether child windows change the current window scope, but I'll look into it.

Hmm, ok, that's not it either. I just opened my normal MUD session which has many different capture windows and the scrollwheel worked in all of them. So something else is going on here. Anyone else have any ideas?

It may be a far shoot, but... is the window you (David256) want to use the mouse and/or CTRL+Z in the currently active window? Or are you just moving your mouse over it and trying to scroll? I apologize if it sounds like a dumb question, it isn't meant to be condescending. Gotta check these little things... ;)

I'm not sure what it is about the offending window yet, I can't reproduce the behaviour in another session, even when I try to set up the layout the same.
Some other stuff about the offending window though:
With show status bar on - same problem, ctrl-z and scroll wheel both don't work
With command line on - works fine
Both on - works fine
That window is aligned to bottom, autohide is off on all windows.
@Arlie: Hehe yup the window is active. Actually I always click off the window and back on it again just before I test, as I've noticed keystrokes can sometimes go to the wrong place after a while.
Sorry Zugg, I know I'm not being very helpful :-P
I'll keep poking around, see if I can nail it down |
