Child window gone black

Thats right... all the stuff i capture to my child window now shows up as black on black.

I started when the styles came out and i cant find out how to properly fix it.

The only color that shows are the bits of it that were highlighted from other triggers, the rest is black on black.

I COULD recolor it before capturing it, but that undoes all the other coloring that i would like to keep.

Sounds like your default child window font color is also black. If you change this you should be fine.

all my child windows are displaying the same behavior after upgrading to 1.32. I am using a #cap blah system for doing it, and upon this happening I had to switch to a :blah:#show %ansi(white)%1 tell: %2

i think something with the upgrade really screwed with previous ansi settings.

Have you checked your Styles settings?

I've just verified this too. I to am on v1.32. I've looked at the styles. There is a style for "Default session text", which is set to green foreground, but I don't see any style specifically for child windows.

One thing I notice: if you click on any of the "classes" containing the styles, they show an apparent style of black on black. I don't know whether that simply reflects a lack of style, or whether it represents a default style.

Each window has it's own Style settings. So click on the child window and then click the Prefs button. The caption of the Prefs window should say "Preferences for ChildWindow" where ChildWindow is the name of the window. Now go to the Styles page and set the Default session text style. It should change the color for the window.

Each window also has it's own ANSI colors, so also click the ANSI page and make sure your foreground and background colors are set appropriately. These should inherit from the default colors unless they have been specifically changed.

I don't know what you mean by the "classes" containing the styles...if you are talking about the category groupings (like Session), then those are not styles that can be edited...you must select an actual style (something with the font/color icon and not the folder icon).
