Linking to different floors?
 
Can someone explain to me how I can link rooms that are more then one floor apart? I useto know in Zmud but I can't seam to do it in Cmud

The mapper in CMUD is exactly the same code - it should Just Work. The easiest way is to manually create the link - begin the link from one of the rooms, then with the link's end still unattached, click the up/down level buttons until you reach the level you want. Then attach the link to the room.

The other way is to go into the room properties of one of the rooms and remember the vnum. Open the other room's properties and add an exit leading to that vnum. Works the same way.

It'd be nice if there were a "send up a level" and "send down a level" button on the rclick menu of rooms so you could send the room to the right level and merge it with a counterpart on another level. That'd be even simpler.
