problem with paths |
I have been trying and trying to get paths to work with zmud (game Achaea) but it always walks me one room and just stops. Anyone had this trouble or know a solution. I've looked over the paths tutorials and can only get so far with it.
thanks

Do you get a message like "Slow walk aborted"? If so, your problem is that ZMud isn't recognizing your prompt or some other room information and thus hasn't realized you have moved.
I don't play Achaea or anything similar, but if you notice this happening with a map open you may want to look into whether the room descriptions aren't matching or something. There's a Mapper Configuration setting that should allow you to ignore the changing room descriptions. |

Make sure you're not in edit mode.

In the map window there are three buttons at the very left of the top toolbar--a red X, footsteps, and a map with a pencil...map off, follow mode, and edit mode. Click on the one for follow mode (remember to switch back to edit mode if you want to actually change your map, but use follow mode otherwise).
