[1.24] not obeying the "Use ALT for docking" optio |
The option "Use ALT for docking" does not seem to have an effect. Taking an undocked window and dragging it over either a blank main window, or the docking buttons or header of another window docks it even if the option is set and ALT is not being pressed.

Yeah, it's a change in the docking system that I haven't taken into account yet. The new docking system uses the CTRL key rather than the ALT key.

If you meant that because of the change to the CTRL key, it isn't working at all right, OK sounds like future work.
But if you meant that the CTRL key should act like the ALT key did, then it's a bug, I think: a) the option has no effect and b) the CTRL key seems to inhibit docking, not allow it. |

Correct.
1) The option doesn't work at all
2) CTRL key inhibits docking
(2) is how the new docking system works, so I just need to change the wording of the option and then make the option work correctly. Or, I might just remove the option completely since it doesn't really make sense in the current docking system. |
