CTRL-Q faster with full buffer

Does anyone here know why CTRL-Q is faster when scrollback buffer is max?

Avarage on the first 5 gives me a time of 6,08. (buffer not full)

Avarage when buffer is full, time was 4,94.

On the first 5, time is roughly 23% longer.

It might have to do with the extra work involved in expanding the buffer to fit all the text.

Would be cool if there was a option under Pref/Memory to assign memory to each character when they loaded.
To speed things up. But it would probably involve a lot of work for Zugg, who is working hard on Cmud.

Well, since the verdict on zMUD is something like "this version is stable, so barring any horrid bugs, 7.21 is the last version" I don't think any more features will be added. You could request it for CMUD though.
