Can't #STOP before #SLOW-walk string conf. |
Bear with me, I'm a n00b with zMUD.
I created a slow-walk to walk through a zone, and #STOP when I see "the orc".
Problem is, "the orc"-line is the last to appear, so every string that can be used to confirm a successful slow-walk
appears before "the orc". Therefore, I always end up confirming a successful step, and walk one step too many.
What to do?
Thx.

Do you have a prompt?

well, you could #STOP in each room, and use a named #ALARM to wait a second, then #STEP... then your trigger for the orc can #SUSPEND the alarm and you can #RESUME when dead.

Hi,
Yeah, I tried the promt, but it walks one extra anyway. Not sure why.
I'll look at the step and alarm cmds.
Thanks.
