[3.34] Error in cMUD.exe 'Setting invalid module: 21.'

This seems to occur after a package file is "corrupted", aka it is loaded and seems to be "empty", all settings inside are "gone", but the package size itself remains in the ~200KB range. I typically just make a copy of the package file from a backup I have, or delete the package, create a new one and import the XML of the package. (which I usually always keep as a backup as well)

After the corruption is "recovered", whenever I create a first session in cMUD, I get this error. The way to resolve it is to open another (different) session (on or offline, doesn't matter), and then reconnect the initial session. Every time I pass a carriage return to the first session prior to opening a second session, it will return the error. The error will not pass until I Reconnect the first session.

Also, it seems whenever I upgrade to a new version, this "invalid module error" (I've seen invalid module 3, 4, 5 and now 21) will go away, until said corruption happens that causes it to begin again, at which point it will persist until a new version comes out. More annoyance than anything, as I have a way to correct it, but any ideas what might be wrong?

If it goes away on upgrade, you probably have a default package that got corrupted. English Directions, English Keypad, Clickable URLs, Default, and Untitled. You should be able to delete these and reinstall to make new ones (assuming CMud doesn't just autorecreate them.)

Where do you reinstall them from? The Library? I found the English Keypad and Directions, but not the clickable URL package. Not in the library, if so, where? It seems to have recreated the default and untitled packages on startup.

If you just used the autoupgrader, you can download a fresh copy from the Zuggsoft.com site.
