[Suggestion] Smart Reconnect

Can we get a "smart reconnect" setting where it will only try to automatically reconnect if you've actively told it to reconnect? I almost always have auto-reconnect off by default because if I disconnect from a session intentionally and let it sit there it will try to reconnect and log me into the game. However, this has the effect of also meaning that if I can't connect to the MUD, either because it crashed or what have you, that I have to manually try to connect every time instead of letting CMUD do that for me while I do other things. I mention this because, if the alternate IP setting is imped, I'd like to see it automatically try the alternate IP instead of having to always manually switch it, but I can't if I'm forced to use auto-reconnect as it is.

Better, IMHO, would be an ability to say "don't reconnect if there's a disconnection during the next 3 minutes" or something.
Then I could use a alias, using this, to quit when I want to stop playing, and if I want to reconnect straight away I can just quit normally. And if I get disconnected, it'll reconnect like normal.
I guess this would all be possible by using timers and setting prefs, but that's kind of kludgy..
