[2.25] Buggy F10

Its fair simple, if I fire off a macro with F10, if I then RIGHT after try to enter text, it will think that it is a shortcut for the "file edit view option" etc line.
This is a greatly annoying. for obvious reasons. and risks accidently firing off things you didn't want to.

Do you have the "Macros override windows shortcuts" option enabled in your preferences?

Yes.
but I just tested, on or off, doesn't matter its only F10 that does it I suppose if it should be disabled when its on it isn't, its firing both the F10 macro and the F10 keys shortcut?

The F10 key is handled at a lower-level in Windows. It has always been the keyboard shortcut in windows for activating the menu bar for non-mouse users. I'll continue to see how I might be able to disable this. Wish there was a way to turn this off in Windows since the ALT key basically does the same thing these days.

OK, I found the problem. My previous "fix" for this wasn't getting executed anymore due to a change in the DevExpress toolbar system. I have restored my fix and it looks like it is working properly again now in v2.26. Thanks for reporting this.
