[1.05] Offline Connection Crashed CMUD

Yum just by opening an offline session. This happens in both "Vista" which i know you arent working on yet and XP Pro SP2.

That stack dump looks like an issue getting the preferences from your package - is it possible your .pkg file is corrupt / the 1.03 version that doesn't upgrade?

I found that any session which tried to open the map window at startup caused a crash. Making sure that map window didn't need to be opened cured the problem. Maybe that could be causing your problem as well?

Rainchild the package works fine everywhere. Even a newly created package dumps on connecting offline.

Hmm, I can't reproduce this. I open the "Sample" and "Medievia" sessions Offline all the time. In fact, I just tried clicking on the default MateriaMagica icon and then clicking the Offline option and it worked fine.
Might be time to try reinstalling 1.05 to a new directory in case you've got something else corrupted, like maybe a corrupted default.pkg file or something. |
