Mapper problem |
I'm having problem with odd room descriptions:
>8<>8> West Crater Road >8<>8>
[Exits: east west]
Busy and well made, the West Crater Road is the main westward
artery from the center of the realm. To the east, the road runs
straight into the huge crater, while to the west the large road
spans beyond your sight.
Notes:
the >< in the name is red.
the 8 is purple.
I get the exits line as the room name.
I've even tried shutting off color codes (Which I would REALLY rather not do) and I still get the exits line as the room name.
I've tried using #tag but I admit I don't understand it much.
Any ideas? |

First things first, #TAG your prompt. If you need to resort to #TAG triggers, none of them will work without tagging your prompt as well.
After that, #TAG should be simple and straightforward with the sole exception of room description (being a large chunk of relatively normal-looking text it's fairly difficult to distinguish it from other game messaging). Multi-state triggers are a major godsend in this case.
After you can verify that your #TAG triggers are operating correctly, you need to reconfigure the mapper to make ZMud recognize the #tag triggers as something to be used for the mapper. |

The mapper works fine for other rooms, and reconfigures fine for other rooms, but hates THIS room.
