Alt-Tab shows two zMUD icons

And prevents me from quickly alt-tabbing between 2 apps. zMUD doesn't do this on my other computer, and I really haven't done any customization to the default settings that I am aware of.

It looks like the main app is considered to be one window, and the connection is a second one. It only shows up as one process in the task bar, but two in Alt-Tab. This kinda drives me nuts.

Any ideas?

I am running XP with all the latest patches, zMUD 7.05.

Have you tried auto tiling within the layout menu?

Go to your Preferences and in the Window Options page you can control exactly which types of windows in zMUD create additional task bar icons. Uncheck the MUD Windows option and then you should just have one icon on the task bar.

All my checkboxes are off. I don't actually get multiple items in the taskbar, just in Alt-Tab for some reason. I get one for every single child window as well.

I figured it out. I had installed Microsoft's Alt-Tab Task Switcher Powertoy. It lets you see exactly what is in a window while you are Alt-Tabbing. Apparently there is some kind of conflict with zMUD and this thing.

Oh well. I didn't need the little preview window. I uninstalled it and it works properly now.

Thanks for the responses.
