i just upgraded from windows 98 to xp. Got all the internet stuff working, so i tried to open zmud. As soon as a do, it gives me an error 'No such interface supported.' And stays on the little black box where 'loading zmud modules', status: initializiing. I have no idea what to do, tried reinstalling zmud, that didn't work, tried unlicensing, that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I believe your error is caused by not having adminstrator priveldges during install or first run. Make sure you are logged in with an user that has admin access, then reinstall and run zMud once. After that it should be good from any account.
The other possibility is that your MDAC/JET installations are corrupt or non-existent. I think this is very improbable since they are a standard part of XP, but you might want to check them as well. |
