To check the syntax of a script, select Check Syntax from the Tools menu in the package editor, or press the Ctrl-K key while in the script field of the package editor.
If there is a syntax error, the cursor will move to the position of the error, and the error message will be shown at the bottom of the script field.
To check the syntax of all scripts in your package, select the Compatibility Report option in the Tools menu.
The Ctrl-K shortcut also works within the text editor, but word wrap must be off for the cursor movement to work properly. |
