Window Settings and Docked Windows |
Here's one that's been vexing me for some time now. I use several docked windows to capture output from a particular mud including channels, tells, log messages, and info messages. These are sent to different windows (created initialy with the #Win command) depending on the type of output received. All those triggers work fine.
My problem is this. No matter how many times or how I save my layout, when I load Zmud those child windows are always docked like I want them, but with the status bar and command line visible on each of them. I turn it off, save the layout, and play. But if I close and reopen zmud (or even the character) the status bars return as do the command lines.
Is there any way to either make sure that the layout saves properly. Baring that, is there a command I can execute within an alias or somesuch that will turn these off?

The layout and window's settings are two different things. The options that enable/disable the status bar and command line are saved in the window's setting. Just make sure that the window you want is selected and click on Settings|Save. Also, be sure that you name the settings file with the same name as the window.
