Trigger/Alias/etc lists have disappeared |
Not sure if this describes my problem adequately but my settings editor window has become a blank. I click on the Trigger or Alias buttons and get the settings editor with a blank white area. Toggling list and detail changes the blank area from white to beige and back. Clicking on ALL or any of the individual folders in the drop down does not change anything. UP and DOWN arrows default back to all.
The good news is that all my old triggers and alias still work. The bad news is that I cannot disable or modify them or create new ones.
Thanks in advance for your help in fixing this, Pewter |

Delete the settings.dok file in your zMUD directory.

Thanks. It seems to have worked... however, two things.
1. Restarting zMUD after the change did not fix the problem. I had to reboot the machine.
2. The settings editor has changed to a different format and the dialogue for the trigger being edited does not always pop up. Not sure if this is me or a 6.40 problem, but I am back up and running.
Thanks again. |

If the Edit window of a particular setting doesn't show up, then you now need to delete zmud.ini. After you get it to show up, try clicking on Layout|Reset Windows|Settings Editor and see if that returns it to the format you like it. Otherwise, make sure that View|Lock Layout is not selected and that [Window]|Dockable is. Then, move the Edit window to one of the hotspots and let it dock.

And don't forget to save the layout again in order for the changes to stay in place.
