Spacing problems after upgrading to 6.38 |
When I upgraded to 6.38 from 6.37, I noticed that it adds an additional space below my prompt...and where before, my prompt sat right above the status bar, there is now an additional space there all the time. In effect, this has amplified my spam by 100% or so and I can't figure out how to change it. This space doesn't seem to come into effect when I type two commands quickly in a row, but only if I get something from the MUD. Can anyone help?

Are you playing on a LP-based MUD by any chance? I believe that the 'correct' way to display these prompts was with the extra space.. there was a recent discussion in the beta forum regarding this, so Zugg added in support for the LP-style prompts.
You should be able to turn it off in
View -> Preferences -> General -> Emulation
and untick Use GA/EOR for prompt.

By the way, if you are using a beta version you should join the beta forum. Go the Zugg Software Forums page and look for the zMUD Beta Forum, then click on the Application Form link. Read the application and click the I Agree button, that's all there is to it.

Thanks..
Just had a look, it seems Achaea is sending 'LF CR' instead of 'CR LF' for a newline, which zMUD doesn't recognise. With any luck that will be fixed in the next version :)
Lady C.
(zMUD should only send a newline when the mud doesnt send one itsself) |
