How can I Slow Down SpeedWalking

In the MUD I play, I can't speedwalk through it even though I set the preference to SlowWalk. I guess the mud server can't handle so many movement commands so quickly - I get a "Don't be so Hasty" message and then Speedwalking is aborted. So is there an overide I can set speedwalking to "walk" even slower than slowwalking? Maybe a half second delay before the next movement command?

I'm not a Zmud programmer.. so I hope the fix isn't too complicated.

Thanks.

Use "SAFE" slow walking mode... it doesn't send the next command until after it registers moving.. That should take care of it for you.

I tried SAFE setting but it made it worse.. just moving 4 rooms gave me four DONT BE SO HASTY messages. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your suggestion.

Try the Sendline Delay in the Script Parser preferences.

What is the SendLine delay in the script parser? I've done index searches on those keywords and can't find it in help.

Click the Prefs button. It's in the toolbar, between Buttons and Map. In the tree on the left, click Script Parser. Sendline Delay is the fill-in box at the bottom of the lefthand column of choices.

Thank you Lightbuld and CowboyAZ. The delay script parser solves my problem is working once I got it fine-tuned.
