Zmud License Misc |
I use Zmud while I'm in my college lab, so I usually license the computer that I'm on, and then unlicense it when I'm finished.
The only problem that I have is that when I go back upon the same computer and start to license it, it already has my license typed up upon the computer... will it be made later on that the elicense will wipe the license when it's unlicensed? Thanks for reading this! ^_^ |

By what do you mean it's already typed up? Do you mean that the registration code textbox is already filled in or is it generating an error of some kind (ie, unable to get a license because you've got 3 active already or it can't access the server to get the license)?

Yah... it's already filled in... just afraid that if someone might see my registration code and use it or reinstate the registration code.. just hoping that they'll have an autowipe so that it's not already filled in when someone tries to license it on a computer I already have unlicensed it on...

In that case, do you have disk priveleges? If you can, the easiest way to remove the license from the computer MIGHT be to remove the two or so .txt files generated by eLicense. Probably should ask Zugg himself or wait for a confirming 2nd opinion, though.

You may use the eLicense Unistaller after you unlicense zMUD to remove eLicense completely.

Thankees! ^-^ I just now have to search for all the comps that I have it on there and do it... although... that's a lot of computers to do it on... is there a suggestion thingy that we can like submit? I think the autowipe license would be sooo neat! ^-^v
Anyways, thanks for the help! ^-^ Hopefully I'll be able to wipe most of the computers that I've been on in the college computer labs... unless someone stole my license already... ;_; |

This is something concerning eLicense. You may e-mail them directly with your suggestion and they may take it into consideration for some next version.
