floating windows

i have beeen searching the forum for questions on floating windows but i cant seem to finde anyone that explain if you can have any.
now before you go off and say "i know a great plugin..." i want to use Zmud itself mostly because i want to learn to use it to the fullest.
so any know if you can make a window floating and still be able to move it around the window without it trying to resize and if so how?

How about Layout->Auto tiling->None

No automatic tiling is done. You can freely move and resize your windows and their positions are saved in your settings file

In command line:
#CAP MyFloatingWindow

Then move the window where you want it?

To interact with a window you can use the focus character.
