Well, since XP probably doesnt like 16 bit programs.. yer screwed.. go d/l a free telnet program from tucows.. Unsupported means no one cares if yer having difficulties with it and yer SoL.

Try right-clicking on the Zmud.exe file and click on 'Properties' then 'Compatability' on the window that pops up and check the box that says 'Run this program in compatability mode for Windows 95'. If that doesn't work then I don't know what else you can do, since microsoft is slowly taking away support of older programs. Either use mudmaster or pay for a newer version of zmud.

Yeah, zMUD is not really expensive - it's just $25 dollars. That's, as it has been said many times, five meals at McDonalds.

It's a bit more for me since I live in Canada... THAT would be why I am not so excited to do it... currency is a pretty big deal for us canadians....

Either download some software that DOES work with your version of windows or get a different mudding program. Or pay for a new version of Zmud, which if you do much mudding, is well worth the price. Or the alternative is to format your computer and re-install win 95 so you can play the 16 bit prog. Have a nice day.
