Just thought I would share how I have come about fixing this error so far. After numerous restarts, reinstalls, and a lot of frustration I tried disabling all of my startup programs. Printer/scanner, sound programs, and ccleaner. I used ccleaner to disable all of these even though you can do it just as easy through windows itself. Now cmud starts up very fast and after several reboots and restarts of the software all is still working perfectly again. This may not fix your issue but it did for me at least temporarily. I will come back and post again if they start back up. Also just to add I am using a newer acer nitro laptop, not some old potato I pulled out of my closet. Hah.
