window problem

Running cmud in one window but it keeps going inactive. Have to mouse click it to activate it. Is some setting wrong?

Do you mean to say that your session is disconnecting?
Alot of games do that to inactive people.
or it could be due to packet inactivity...
Something like this helps in some cases:
#ALARM "StayAlive" {-5:00} {#SEND %char(8)} |
