window layout settings permanently screwed... any suggestions?

i was running 5 sessions at once, 2 within cmud and 3 within a floating window. tried to open a 6th...

one cpu core went to 100% and the memory blew out and used all my ram (most of 8gb) then started hitting the swap...i was patient and gave it 5 minutes, then i killed the process

now when i open a session it's buggered. bits of windows everywhere, docked halfway into cmud menu bar, cant access control bar of session, cant do pretty much anything normally. tried removing a few ini files, didnt help. tried reinstalling, didnt help. dont want to wipe my 20+ different sessions.

any suggestiosn?

jack

hold shift as you open the session to break up the existing layout
