Cmud won't launch |
Last night everything was working perfectly fine, but now I try to open Cmud and I get all these errors:
Could not open C:]Users\Jared\Documents\My Games\CMUD\sessions.db
None of the dynamic libraries can be found: sqlite.dll
If I hit Continue Application it gives another error:
None of the dynamic libraries can be found: sqlite.dll
If I hit Continue again Cmud opens with a white background, and if I hit Sessions in the top left, I get error:
Access violation at address 004C90FC in module 'cMUD.exe'.
Read of address 0000003C.
Please help! |

This happens sometimes on Vista and Win7 if Windows locks a DLL into memory. Rebooting the computer is the only good fix for this.
You didn't mention what version of CMUD you are using but you shouldn't get this error in v3.3x after the first time you have run it since 3.x converts your SQL databases to SQLite v3 and then no longer needs to load the older sqlite.dll library. But this was a common problem with CMUD v2.x. |

I'm not sure what my version is. How do I update?

in your case, you'll have to download it externally from the zuggsoft.com site. Move the mouse up to the Downloads menu above, and click on the CMud link.
Note that you will probably need to buy a license for v3, but you can do the 30-day evaluation again if you aren't sure about upgrading. |
