[3.32] Enabling and disabling settings

What happened to this? Does it work at all any more? Sometimes it's ignored and other times I manage to disable but when I try to enable again I don't see the setting again (talking about GUI elements). Either way I don't see any strike-through and grey-out.

Do you know about the "tricks"? Sometimes CMud will not immediately update, so you need to switch taskbar windows (sometimes it's enough to flip between the main cmud and the package editor windows, sometimes you have to switch to a whole other application) and then if necessary click on the Refresh button.

I don't remember that it ever behaved like this before so I may not have tried those tricks myself. I did try a few things though. It seems to work now so at least I am actually able to disable and enable settings. I would however prefer a fix to the tricks... Razz

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the "tricks" that Matt is talking about. If you have the "Auto Update" option enabled in the View menu of your Package Editor, then it should always update automatically. I am not aware of any problem with CMUD not showing the strike-through bar on disabled settings. If you are still having a problem, you'll need to post a step-by-step procedure for reproducing the problem.

I am not sure why it didn't work at the time I started the thread but it works now. I'll follow up on it if I experience the same problems again but for now I consider the case closed as I have to idea if there is a way to force the situation.
