keyboard glitch with Cmud

Hi, I'm running a trial version of Cmud 2.37 on a Windows XP system, and something is er...unique? about the way that it's reading the input from my keyboard. The left half of the keyboard is normal, but the right half is acting very strange, as in if I type the letter "K" it acts as though I've hit the S key, and then enter. Half the letters are being read as numbers, or in some cases actions such as "look" or "se" which I'm assuming means the direction southeast. Which sounds like a macro or alias is set on some of the regular keys? But it's to the point where I can't enter my character name because it uses keys on the right hand side of the keyboard.

I used to have zmud about 5 years ago on a different computer, so I don't think I'm just being a complete idiot, though feel free to correct me if I am, but I'm a little annoyed because it's eaten up several of my trial days just trying to get it to work, and I'd like to test it out before actually buying it. All help would be appreciated, thanks!

That sounds like you have a laptop with the number lock on, try turning it off.

Wrym is correct.

You will more than likely have to do this EVERY time you open cmud, as it will reset the numlock. I do.
