ANSI colours not working in CMUD Editor

Hi all

Not being all that familiar with Mud clients, I apologise if this has been covered somewhere else, or I've just missed something really obvious, but...

I've made a few logs which were supposed to have recorded the ANSI colours (in this case, green on black, yet when I open them in CMUD's Editor, all I get is this:

Yet having talked to others with ZMUD, I'm told it should appear in colour in the built-in Editor...

Thanks in advance

When you load the file into the Editor using the File/Open command, you need to switch the File Type in the Open dialog to "ANSI Files". The default file type is "Text files" which will not expand the ANSI color codes. The File Type drop-down selection should be down near the filename in the Open dialog.
