[3.06] Styles |
Nice job on the styles. And it works as I hoped. If I add a style to a package I distribute, a user can override it simply by creating a style with the same name in his main session package. Excellent!
May I assume that we will eventually see something like a %style() which acts like %ansi()?
I also assume that help pages for #style and #nostyle will appear before the public release. |

Yep, help pages for all of the new commands will be added before the public release.
Styles need to be properly closed, so rather than using something like %style, it will probably be an MXP syntax. Currently, CMUD has a syntax like <STYLE nnn>text</STYLE> where nnn is a style number. I just need to modify this existing code to allow a user-defined style name. So that's probably how I will handle it. |

Excellent! I wasn't sure you could get it to work with MXP without modifying the standard.
