Automapper directions and searching

I have 2 questions regarding the automapper in Zmud 7.21.

First, I play a mud with extensive cave systems. Standard directions are used: n,ne,e,se,s,sw,w,nw. However, when moving in one of these directions you may also be moving up or down a level. This feedback is provided based on a skill learned in the game. So in reality enterring the command ne could really be just ne, or ne and up, or ne and down. I would like to be able to configure the automapper to automatically take the input from the MUD to create rooms at the right level.

For instance, say I'm in a room with 1 exit of north. If I move north I can get the mapper to create the room based on description and exits but always on the same level. I also get feedback from the mud something along the lines of: "You are confident you are higher than before". I can manually go in and move the room upwards, but does anyone know a way to get it to use the input lines to automatically set a room's location up or down a level?

Secondly, I am not an SQL expert by any means. Is there some way that I can search for a room based off just the exits? For instance, can I get a list or marked locations on the map for all rooms with the exits n,se, and w?

I appreciate any feedback.

The automapper won't do something like that automatically. You can 'help' the automapper by Overriding the Mapper with the #TAG command.
