Help getting mapper to follow into a room |
I am trying to map an area that has a hidden ladder down into a sewers area. The following text shows the output from the MUD when I enter the room from above. The first three lines only happen when I enter the room from above and the third of those lines changes since it is just showing my vitals after the fall. The remainder of the text is the normal room description that doesn't change.
I have automatic step confirmation configured to verify the first line of the room description currently, so I need the room description to not include the first three lines of text so that the map follows correctly when I enter the room from the southwest or northeast. When I enter the room from above in this case though, the mapper doesn't track the movement correctly I believe because those extra messages make the first line of the room description not match. Is there some setting I can change for this room that will allow the map to follow me despite the apparent room description difference? I am using safe walk mode currently in CMUD 3.03a.
The ladder is shorter than you thought.
You slip and fall to the bottom of the tunnel with a THUD!

It appears that something in this area wreaked havoc. The walls are all clawed
up and there are a few sections of pipe laying broken in the muck. Small holes
can also be seen in the walls. The remains of the pipes in the ceiling spurt
brown slush along the wall and down onto the floor of the tunnel, creating a
river of muck. A broken metal ladder can also be seen leading up to the
surface. The walls of the tunnel are covered in a film of ice. There are small
runes on each side of the tunnel, providing a dim light.
Something rancid wafts through the air.
The constantly moving river of muck plops randomly.
There are two obvious exits: northeast and southwest.

Nevermind, figured it out. Somehow missed the improving room detection section of the docs for the mapper, just needed triggers that used the #nomap command for those three lines.
