Settings/aliases/etc. do not save.

I'm having an issue where I go in and create a new alias, save it, save the settings, and when I re-open Zmud it's gone. Nothing saves. Any advice?

I'm guessing you need to move your settings file location to somewhere other than the Programs/ZMud directory. I assume you are using Vista (or more likely XP SP3), which enforces write priveleges.

If that's not it, did you copy the settings files from a CD? Things on a CD are sometimes set as read-only, so you'll need to manually change these attributes on those files.

I'm using Vista. It seems like some settings saved from a week or so ago, but nothing since. So, I just need to move the .mud file to any other location?

Don't install zMUD in Program Files. Uninstall it and put it somewhere else. If you've made some stuff you can copy what's left in the old zMUD folder into the new zMUD folder, but if you're having this problem, there probably won't be anything worth copying over.
