zMUD on Linux using Crossover 6 Pro
 
I'd just like to say that I've managed to make it work... well, actually that it just works period.

Install Crossover Pro 6
In Crossover Pro 6, make a new bottle (I named mine Windows XP and used the WinXP settings)
Install Unsupported Software
Browse to an install zmud from wherever you downloaded it.

Works better than in Vista.

Next thing I'm gonna do is install TTS into this bottle and see if I can get MudReader plugin to work as well.
