[2.33] Still crashing when converting a MUD file

The same .MUD file that I crashed on before (and emailed in) is still crashing 2.33 when it tries to convert it. At least this time it offered to send a crash report.

However, it produced a .pkg file that I can load and examine, but I'm not sure how far to trust it yet.

How exactly are you trying to convert it? I did this:

1) Run CMUD, close the Session window
2) Open the Settings Editor (Ctrl-G)
3) Select File/Open and select your *.MUD file.

That worked fine for me using your MUD file here.

I did it a bit differently. I edited the session, set the .mud file as the package, saved, then opened offline.

I won't be able to test this until tomorrow, but I'm curious as to whether you still get a crash when you follow the steps that I gave above?

Interesting, that works...

EDIT:

No, I take it back. It looks good in the editor, but close CMUD, open a new blank session, load the package file, and all the settings are gone.

Hmm that is very odd, but I tried it and you are right! I'll add that to the bug list and look into it (along with the crash when loading it from the Edit Character screen too).
