[2.25] CMUD Pro - pcre76.dll error on startup

I opened CMUD this afternoon and got the following error message:

Error opening pcre76.dll library
Invalid access to memory location

CMUD worked fine yesterday and I've not installed anything new in weeks. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CMUD, but still get the error. I'm using CMUD Pro 2.25 on Vista Home Premium. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Try just rebooting. Sometimes I have seen a Windows glitch where the DLL is still somehow loaded into memory and then it gives this error. I haven't found a way to reliably reproduce it, but rebooting Windows always fixes it. You might also open the Task Manager and make sure CMUD itself isn't still somehow stuck in memory and didn't close properly.

I just had this problem while loading CMUD fresh from reboot.

I've noticed this problem sometimes also. It only ever shows up when I just started my computer and immediately start cmud after logging into windows (vista). I think perhaps its a timing thing where windows may still be loading things in the background.
