[2.25] Slowww Problems |
I don't know what is causing this but when I am connected things get slow as can be. I don't know if it is the logging taking place or what. For instance, if I send a path offline the directions go up so fast you can't follow them with your eyes. While I am connect it takes like a second or more to send the path directions and there is a delay between each command.
Also when I do things that show MXP like a horizontal rule weird stuff happens. A little dialog box pops up on the screen and says waiting with a progress bar on it. Sometimes this happens in the blink of an eye and others takes a couple seconds. The longer I am online the more it seems to slow down.
This is REALLY irritating. Sending a path should be instantaneous, not look like I have a #wait 5 inbetween the directions. All my commands slow down. It only happens while I am connected though.
Example...
Online:

Do you have a lot of settings loaded?

If it only occurs when you online, I would start by disabling any triggers/settings you have set to become enabled when you connecting. Or even all triggers (in a very safe area). Does this occur with only one path, or all paths?
Are you using the .path notation (i.e. .2s3nw2de) manually at the command line, named paths or are using the mapper speedwalk? Does it make a difference as to which approach you use? |

Actually I noticed this too, when I upgraded to 2.25 my command line seems to lag while I'm typing, my commands sent seem to be delayed by a half second or even a full second. Disabling my settings doesn't seem to speed it up, so I don't think it's faulty coding/presence of complicated script. Also several of my variables continually replicate themselves(That's really annoying because it stops my system dead in most cases).
