This package is marked read only?

Why does CMUD randomly change some of the packages to read only? And i have to hit force save to change anything? Anyone know how to fix this? probably have to reinstall.

2.18? It's a known bug, and it's fixed in the latest version. The next public release is due next week.

Note that even after you get the new version, you will probably have to manually change any Read Only packages back to writeable. After that it shouldn't happen again. In the Package Editor, click on Edit|Package Properties. There is a checkbox labeled Read Only. If it has a checkmark, click it to turn off Read Only. You can do this now, too, and it will save when you close the session, but it may turn back to Read Only sometimes, until the bugfix is installed.
