Zmud crashing |
Zmud crashes whenever I save my settings or try to close the program. (And by crash I mean it freezes and starts sucking my CPU for all it's worth)
I cannot save settings anymore which means I can't change/edit/update my system.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, exporting my system to a ASCII script, making a new .mud file to work off of and reimporting my system, and uninstalling/deleting the zmud folder from my harddrive/reinstalling and importing my system.
Help is appreciated, I want to get back to MUDding ;_; |

Vista? Make sure you're running zMUD as an administrator (explicitly, using the Run As Administrator option). zMUD's not supported on Vista, but that should make it work.

If it only happens when you save, you most likely have a corrupted settings file (.mud). To fix this (or at least attempt to), you need to send the settings file through the Migration Guide.

Mine does the same thing. And that migration link doesn't work.
