Export is only available as XML in CMUD. The zScript syntax doesn't allow for some of the newer enhancements, such as priority.

That would still work for the purposes of sharing what I have on here, though. Right?

And... in theory, couldn't someone use it to make an external app that processed it?

Sorry to steal your thread, but I have the opposite problem. I can't re-import my XML exports. The Settings Editor just creates a dummy setting.
As to your question. Yes, an external application that can accept XML imput would have no problems being created. Using IE's JScript would present one such ready-made environment.

Yeah... you don't actually need to export your settings to share them with people, you can just give them the .pkg file. XML is useful for sharing only part of a package - you just send them the xml file, they copy the contents onto the clipboard and then press ctrl+v in the treeview of the package editor. Job done.

Yeah, I just want to share parts. And also to be able to post them on here quicker rather than trying to figure out what it would be in the #OBJECT { } {} {} form

Just go onto the XML tab of any given setting (trigger, alias, whatever) and copy everything on there into a [code] tag to get it onto the forums.
