cmudpro/zmapper do they offer the same mapping features?

one quick question
I am thinking of buying zmapper but heard that cmud pro allows you the same features as zmapper is this true? if so I may just buy cmud pro instead and does the upgrade to cmud pro still only cost 10 dollars since I bought the cmud?

Cmud Pro does NOT give you all of the mapping features that Zmapper gives you.
You can view the maps made in Zmapper in Cmud Pro and you can use the nifty scripting tools that Zmapper gives you.
But you cannot create all the maps or alter them like you can with Zmapper.

ZMapper doesn't quite work the way you might expect.
It is a separate program that you can open to alter the maps you already created, or to create new maps OFFLINE.
What it can do is stunning. And if you have Cmud pro or Zmud and Zmapper installed your Map window within your session can display what you made in Zmapper.
The mapper window is still capable of creating the maps you are used to creating in Zmud or adding rooms to the spiffy maps you altered in Zmapper. But the new rooms will be the standard squares until you fix them up in Zmapper.

Frankly, I have had problems using zMapper with cMUD. Nowadays, it just bombs with access violation exception. This is true for both cMUD and cMUDPro (2.18). I removed the plugin in an attempt to re-install it and now i cannot re-acquire it.
