Inconsistent Mapper behavior (2.18 Pro)

I recently began visiting the IRE Mud, Lusternia. I've noted the following Auto-mapping problem that was not there when I played previously:
When auto-mapper creates a new room whose name is of the form, Name of room. (road)., it strips both periods from the room name, the one immediately following the name proper and the one at the end of the line following the additional description, "(road)".
When visiting, say, Approaching Serenwilde. (road). in tracking mode, the match always fails because the Mapper is looking for the room whose name still has a period following "Approaching Serenwilde" followed by " (road)" with no period. |
