how to kill automapper
 
ok i attempted to use the mapper once, it wouldn't grab the room properly so i said screw it. now it loads every time i start up said MUD. how do i stop it from doing so. i dont quite need the automapper since i have most of the locations in venture memorized.

Close it and the new layout should save automatically. You could try forcing the layout to save with the #save command once you've closed it.

i'm able to close it but it goes to the sidebar and i already tried using the #save command. but it still opens the map i was attempting to make even though i delete the map file each time

Goes to the sidebar? Then you're not clicking the right thing - if it's flying out from the side, pin it out, make sure the layout isn't locked (on the layout menu) and then press the x. It should be gone forever.
