Error on loading sessions after 2.18 upgrade

Subject gives most of the info. Getting more specific, after the upgrade I ran the app and double clicked on a session. Got the first error. Then tried to load from the session dropdown menu and got the second error below.

I got similar errors on my windows vista laptop and I could make new sessions with no problems. I tried doing this on the machine generating the errors above and got another error. Upon attempting to delete the session, got this error:

Managed to get a new session working after closing and reopening the application. Opened the old session file in the new session, closed the application and ran it again, then the old session works (mostly).
