[2.12] Minimizing mapper to tray sends entire program to tray

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch CMUD
2. ESC to close session window
3. Open mapper
4. Right click on mapper and select 'Undock'
5. Right click on mapper and select 'Minimize to tray'

Hmm, that option should only be shown in the main application window and only when Themes are being used. The "Minimize to tray" option only applies to applications...you can't minimize a single window to the tray...only the entire program. So it's working properly, it just shouldn't be shown in that window.

I thought you'd taken minimizing to the tray out of CMUD Zugg?
There were some odd problems with it before, http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27285

No, that thread was about the "task bar icon" which is different from the "minimize to system tray". The "minimize to system tray" is a feature of the Theme Engine, so it's no surprise if it causes problems with the theme engine is disabled.

I can't see such an option for the mapper window. How you get that 'Minimize to tray'? And, after all, what is the point in mapper minimizing to tray?

Btw, write once again: mapper option 'Show icon in taskbar' not work.

There is support for two theme handlers in CMud. The first theme handler is one included in CMud, so it's sort of custom-built to work with CMud. The second theme handler is the one that comes with Windows. These two theme handlers have a really hard time working together, so Zugg has it set up where if you don't use a theme or use a windows-supported theme then CMud calls the windows theme handler. If it's not a windows-supported theme, then CMud calls its own handler.

To get the option in the mapper, just change your theme until it appears. Keep in mind that this is a bug and the mapper is NOT supposed to have the minimize to tray option.

I'm able to access the option for minimizing the window to the tray by right clicking on the mapper's title bar.

As to why I've always sent it to the tray, my laptop is fairly old and doesn't support high resolutions. In order for me to have it docked and large enough to read, it sort of smooshes up the text from the mud output window so I've been in the habit of keeping it on top when I run around then sending it to the tray when I'm sitting around chatting. 2.12 is the first version where I've not had it work that way.

You could always dock it as a flyout window, jpolen. If you put it on the side, it'll collapse itself when you don't have the mouse over it unless you pin it open.

If the screen of your laptop is quite large and it just won't go to high resos, you might also find that reducing the font size helps.
