Buttons in the status window? |
Is there a way to have buttons in the status window OR move the scroll bar and everything to the left like the status window does and put buttons there? Thanks!

In the button options, set the Toolbar to 4 for buttons that you want on the right.

Hmm.. I'd really like a way to pin a button par to the side bar on autohide, just like the default status window. I have a set of buttons which are just switches to change the way my curing system is working. I don't need to see them most of the time, and more specifically, I don't need them taking up screen space.
I was originally going to get around this by sticking them over on my second monitor (when the issues with unstable non-docked windows is resolved) but if buttons bars could be told to autohide, that would be even better. |

You could make a button/macro to toggle your other buttons by just enabling/disabling the class folder they're all in.

You can create a child window and place your buttons in Toolbar 4 for the child window, and then turn off the Show Mud Output option for the child window. That will give you a child window that just contains the toolbar. Then you can dock this window anywhere you want. And you can set the window to autohide.
You can also do something similar using the customizeable toolbar in CMUD. This can be a bit more complex, but basically you click the drop-down arrow on the far right of the main menu to toolbar and select the Customize option. Then, create a new toolbar. Each button that you define can be placed on this toolbar by going to the Commands tab, then look for the section associated with your window and you'll find your Button and Menu settings listed there. Drag/drop the button or menus that you want to your new toolbar.
Once you have the new toolbar, you can dock it to the right-most edge of your window. You can turn off the display of buttons in the normal CMUD toolbars using an option in the Button Options panel. This will allow the button to be displayed on a customized toolbar without displaying in the normal MUD window.
This is certainly the most complex method, and isn't really documented yet, but it might work. |
